Little Litter Lady

There is a very little old lady in our small town who walks every morning with a bag in her hand picking up litter. One little lady, a few pieces of litter, what difference does it make?

Unknown Object
A lot of difference. Especially if you consider what the town might look like if she stopped doing it.

I see it happening a lot. In another nearby town there are two fellows, with good sized bags and litter claws so they don't have to bend over. They do not only the town but the walking trails as well. Boy are they in good shape! And so cheerful too! Makes you renew your faith in humanity!

But getting back to my point. Little things can make a big difference.

As I continue on this HOPE series, that is my message.

LITTLE THINGS CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE

Now we are talking about depression once again.

Don't frustrate yourself looking for BIG changes and BIG differences.

Be content with LITTLE changes and LITTLE differences and watch those LITTLE DIFFERENCES accumulate, and accumulate into eventual big differences.

DON'T WAIT FOR THE DEPRESSION CURE LOTTERY TO COME TO YOUR TOWN!

You go for it! Reach out for those little changes.

Do you need an example?

Okay, go to my 101 Depression Getaways page and pick one little getaway, just one. Do it every day for a week. Any difference?

Well, you can't answer that now, but you can answer that in a week!

Ready for the challenge?

WHAT ABOUT YOU? How are you feeling today? Even at your lowest it is possible to try one little new thing. Even at your lowest it is possible to grab onto one little thread of hope.

Don't give up! There is hope for depression.
