3 Getaway Goals for Bipolar Boot Camp (Part 3, Bipolar Boot Camp)


There's a lot that happens in a hockey game to cause this goal to be completed.

There is planning and practice and more planning and more practice before success is achieved.

For our Bipolar Boot Camp we need to set some goals too. I mean, why bother coming to camp if you don't know what you want to get out of it? How can you measure success without a decided, or hoped for outcome?
But first things first, how is that mood chart coming along? Are you doing your best to fill it out? It is the most important first step to managing bipolar. Without it you will flounder like a fish out of water.


Now, do you want to spend your life with bipolar floundering like this fish, flopping around the dock helplessly, or would you rather be focused and goal oriented and on your way to a better life?

You wouldn't be reading this if you were not hoping for a better future now would you?

It might surprise you that the goals of this boot camp are all about IMPROVEMENT, not about SUCCESS. We are NOT going to fix your bipolar. We are going to improve the quality of life WITH bipolar.

And so I need you to keep that important word in mind:
IMPROVEMENT!

Now that I have given you that little pep talk, I hope you are ready to get your marching orders, or in other words, find out what your 3 Getaway Goals are for Bipolar Boot Camp.

1. IMPROVE SYMPTOMS

2. IMPROVE FUNCTIONING

3. IMPROVE LIFE STRESS MANAGEMENT SKILLS

Please write these down in nice big block letters and put it on your fridge where you will see it everyday.

We are going to start on some BASIC DRILLS next time so rest while you can.
